New Malware 2022 To Steal Cellphone Money

Microsoft has warned users about new malware stealing money from cell phones, smartphones, or mobiles. It is possible to manipulate the balance in the mobile by turning off the Wi-Fi connection through toll fraud or forgery. News IANS.

The activities and behavior of toll fraud are completely different from other billing frauds including SMS and calls. According to Microsoft’s 365 Defender research team, SMS and call fraud involve sending messages and calling specific numbers, but toll fraud is attacked in multiple ways. Developers of malware can constantly change this.

For example, everyone is aware of how these attackers prey on users under certain network operators. According to the organization, hackers continue their search. That is, they make sure that their target is connected to a specific operator. At the same time, it puts pressure on the victim to connect to the mobile network even if the device has a Wi-Fi connection to manage its activities.

When evidence of target involvement is found on a large network, the malware launches a fraudulent subscription service invisible to the user. In some cases, attackers also control the issue of one-time passwords.

Microsoft said in a statement that it deleted all subscription-related notifications through malware after the subscriber’s cell phone subscription service was launched. So that the user is careful not to unsubscribe from the service. Another distinctive feature of toll fraud is its dynamic coding system. The security system on the mobile or cellphone, due to coding, cannot detect the attack.
